Ayame Jin: The ship's main doctor who also doubles as the XO.  She is very serious and to the point, but she is somewhat snide and sarcastic when she doesn't feel the need to be formal.  She is a believer that injuries are painful and that medical practices cannot deny this fact.  She is good at her job and patients come out of her care quite healthy, and contrary to the rumors, she does use anesthetics, she just accepts that sometimes there is no safe way to dull the pain for a patient entirely and thus some of her patients are happier with her than others.

Dan: The AI on the White Chalice.  Though he is competent, he is fairly naive and often overly enthusiastic.

Lans Chretien: The leader of Adventus, who would see nothing less than the complete removal of all war mecha used in the entire world.

Maxene Trendy: The second doctor onboard the ship, Maxene deals with injuries of a less natural nature.  Dressed in the manner of a witch doctor of old, she has occasionally spent time away from the Chalice for her own reasons.  In spite of appearances, however, her medical knowledge is just as in-depth as Ayame's, though she does prefer to use tried and true folk remedies.  Most peculiarly, however, is her origins: though many people claim to know them, none of the stories match up and they are often far cries of each other.

Smith Weston: The captain of the White Chalice.  Rumor has it that he was one an incredible general in some army somewhere, but no one knows how accurate that is.  Certainly his skill isn't proven now as the guy is almost entirely senile.  He does have his moments of competency, but for the most part even talking to him is a chore.

Sumeragi Lee Noriega: The captain of the Ptolemaios, Celestial Being's flagship.  No one knows much about her other than that as she rarely contacts the White Chalice except on business and she is very adamant about keeping her secrets.
